"At Dodger Stadium, it's beginning to look a lot like Boston."

Lowe, Little, Mueller...and now Nomar. Frank McCourt must really miss Beantown. (They should go ahead and sign Damon just to get it over with.) Nomar's new (one-year) contract is reportedly about $6. So far then, his decision to turn down the Sox's offer of 4 years, $64M has cost him $18M...in just the first two years. Yikes.

  1. While it is true that Nomar could have had more money, he still is making more than probably all of us combined (and by probably I mean definitely...and by millions) and doing way less...

  3. Oo oo oo! That leads to a good "would you rather" type question...would you endure the groin injury Nomar had last season (an image depicting the pain he was in can be found here), in order to make $6M just by sitting arounf and recover?

    (I would. I think.)

  4. Yes...I know that sucked, but we get over pain...and 6 mill would go a long way to making that pain all better.
